Head of FRWO and Head of the Department of Environment emphasized strengthening interactions between two departments for Sustainable Development.

According to FRWO's website, Dr. Massoud Mansour, Deputy Minister and Head of FRWO in a meeting with Dr. Ali Salajegheh Vice President and Head of the Department of Environment, attended by a number of FRWO's managers, emphasized the missions of Department of Environment and said: "Considering your expertise and experience, as well as the support that the esteemed Government will provide in this area, God willing, significant progress will be made in implementing the missions of Department of Environment."

Dr. Masoud Mansour reiterated: "I believe that FRWO and DoE are like two wings of sustainable development, and I hope that in this new period, the cooperation between the two departments will be developed as country progress on putting the sustainable development goals into action".

In this meeting, Dr. Ali Salajegheh Vice President and Head of DoE commemorated the memory of the martyrs of the two organizations, and said: "We are a single body and we should seek the effective protection of the country's natural resources by considering the role of the Government and the role of the people."

In this meeting, which was also attended by a number of FRWO's managers, the oak statue was awarded to Head of DoE.

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Ali Selajgeh was the Deputy Minister and Head of FRWO in 2011.
